Practice Chinese writing on your Notes app

Notes App

The Notes app is a pre-installed app on your iPod Touch/iPad mini/iPad/iPhone.

It is very useful for Chinese handwriting.

By tapping a line on your Notes app, you will see a standard keyboard.

Then tap the globe icon until you find the Simplified Chinese - Handwriting keyboard.  (Please see also the pervious post on adding Chinese keyboards.)

The following screenshot is Chinese number 9. You may see there are 8 characters recommended for the character written on the keyboard, but actually the first one is right.

By choosing the first one, you can confirm the character you want and practice another character.

Here are the steps:

 (1) Open your Setting app on your iPad, iPad mini or iPod Touch.

 (2) Go to "General".

 (3) Find "Keyboard", then "Keyboards".

 (4) Tap "Add New Keyboards".

 (5) Add "Chinese - Simplified Pinyin" and "Chinese - Simplified Handwriting".
